Optimind Winter is entirely organized on a consulting approach focused on the field of risk management. The executive committee and team managers provide the entirety of Optimind Winter’s skills supply.
The President of Optimind Winter, Christophe Eberlé 45-years old, is a qualified actuary and a member of the Institute of French Actuaries, and has been running the company since its creation in 2000. He has been specifically in charge of insurance and finance aspects of Optimind Winter’s missions and projects by ensuring high quality, compliance with deadlines and professional standards of accomplished assignments. Today, he leads the executive committee and the overall company and operational strategy. Graduated from the institute of Strasbourg as a qualified actuary and holding a master degree in actuary and risk management, he began his career within the technical direction of La Mondiale Partenaire before taking the position of product actuary at Partner Re. He has been president of the Strasbourg Union of Actuaries. As a former member of the scientific committee, he held several electoral offices within the Institute of Actuaries, of which he was vice-president from 2012 to 2014.
Graduated of the Institute of Science and Financial Insurance (ISFA) and a member of the Institute of Actuaries, Pierre-Alain Boscher is today the director of Employee Benefits at Optimind Winter.
He works with industrial and commercial companies to meet all their challenges in the area of social protection (accident insurance, health, retirement, benefits, savings, social liabilities).
Pierre-Alain Boscher began his career at Winter in 2000 and worked for insurance companies on various topics, and today supports Optimind Winter’s growth by dedicating himself to company consultation.
Dan Chelly, 44-years old, director joined Optimind in 2010 to develop the Risk Management, Auditing & Internal Monitoring practice. Graduated of Master’s Degree in Bank & Finance from Paris Dauphine University, he is also ARM 54 certified (associate in risk management of the American Insurance Institute). He was an international internal auditor for Asset Management before being promoted to the position of joint director of operational risks at a corporate and investment bank. He took responsibility for managing the operational risks of a large banking group where he implemented and piloted the operational risk scheme across the whole group. Since 2008, he has occupied the position of associate director in management consulting and risk management. He is the joint author of works on risk management (including ‘Operational risks – from the implementation of a scheme to its review’ Revue Banque Editions and ‘Managing risks under Solvency 2’ Editions Argus for insurance). Dan Chelly teaches risk management and governance at ENASS (National School for Health and Social Affairs) and is an advisor and a juror for CEFAR (risk management strategy certificate for AMRAE). He also regularly provides training and leads conferences in risk management (Paris, London, Rome, Casablanca, etc.).
Managing Director, Bastien Davalos, 34 years old, has joined Optimind Winter in 2016 to develop a Financial structuring team dedicated to institutional clients and corporate.
Having obtained a Master degree in Probability and Finance from Paris 6 – Polytechnique and a Master degree in Applied Mathematics from the university Toulouse 3, Bastien started his career in the Markets division at Société Générale. First as a cross-asset structurer he develops investment and hedging solutions for institutional clients and advises them on regulation and accounting considerations. Then he joins the rates, credit and inflation structuring team to develop the franchise across Europe. In 2014, he is appointed Deputy Head of the structuring and advisory team dedicated to Insurance companies and Pension Funds.
Eric Gaubert, 44-years old, joined Optimind in 2008 as Business Development Director. Graduated of master’s degree in physics and mathematics, he began his career in service companies and since 2002, he has specialised in the financial risks field and then the decision-making one, in 2007, at SAS France in the risk and compliance division for banks, investment companies and insurance companies.
Today, Eric Gaubert is in charge of development management at Optimind Winter and assists in the growth of all our fields in France and in Europe. Furthermore, he is in charge of the training department, putting forward all our skills through our topical issues in response to the expectations and requests of our current customers and potential ones.
Alain Le Corre joined Optimind Winter in 2015 as Director of « Risk Management, Audit and internal control » in the banking sector. Alain is an engineer specialized in securitization of Information Systems. He began his career at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as a Network & Security consultant within the Outsourcing BU. Later, he joined La Poste Group to be in charge of Information Systems. Following the Banque Postale creation, Alain was appointed to define and monitor the Business Continuity Plan in accordance with the French regulations and to integrate this Plan into the company’s Risk Management System.
Building on this expertise, Alain decided to create his own consulting firm in 2008 targeting the banking sector in France and North Africa. He assists his clients on the implementation and optimization of operating risks management, internal control and compliance, business continuity plan and Information Systems securitization issues.
With a master’s degree in human resources management and development from the IGS, Julie Norguet began her career in human resources by occupying generalist HR positions in General Electric Healthcare Ultrasound, DDB Communication France Group and PRGX. After almost three years spent as the head of human resources with active involvement in the development of Optimind, Julie Norguet was appointed as Director of Human Resources in 2012.
In this capacity, she is responsible for HR management and supports Optimind Winter’s growth through involvement with various subjects ranging from recruitment to career management to training for our employees and legal matters.
Director Bertrand Pitavy, 54-years old, joined Optimind Winter in 2012 to develop the activities of Business Transformation and project management. As a trained engineer and graduate of the Centre of Actuarial Studies (CEA), Bertrand has held various positions of responsibility in the field of insurance including, in particular, that of business manager at IBM Huons Solutions for the marketing and implementation of an IARD management software package, Senior Vice President of Tillinghast Software Solutions (Towers Watson) where he worked on the development of activities linked to the financial modelling software MoSes, and more recently as group insurance development director at Aon Hewitt.
Director Gildas Robert, 36-year-old, works with insurers, benefits institutions and mutual insurers in their actuarial challenges connected to product design, stocklists and key initiatives for the implementation of the three Solvency II pillars. A graduate of the Institute of Science and Financial Insurance (ISFA) and a qualified member of the Institute of Actuaries, Gildas Robert has assisted Optimind in its growth for almost eight years through the deployment of actuarial consultancy and risk management services.
Diplômée de l’Ecole Centrale de Paris en 1990, Marie-Catherine Sarraudy est membre actuaire certifiée de l’Institut des Actuaires.
Marie-Catherine Sarraudy a débuté sa carrière au contrôle de gestion de l’UAP avant d’en rejoindre la Direction technique.
Elle a ensuite participé activement à la création de la filiale d’assurance non vie du groupe HSBC, Erisa IARD, dont elle était notamment directrice de l’actuariat et du marketing, responsable de la réassurance, de la comptabilité technique, du développement des produits et des relations avec les banques distributrices. En 2005, elle s’est orientée vers le conseil en actuariat chez Towers Perrin, puis chez Actuaris où elle a pris la fonction d’associée en charge du pôle non vie. En 2012, Marie-Catherine a rejoint COFACE en tant que directrice de l’actuariat groupe puis directrice des risques groupe, en charge de l’actuariat, de l’implémentation de Solvabilité 2 sur les 3 piliers, et de la gestion des risques.
